Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Pocket Heist is published by WINBYBIT INC., an Ontario corporation operating under the WinByBit brand (“WinByBit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@winbybit.com.

2. Information you provide

The game does not require account registration and does not ask you to provide a name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, camera access, or microphone access. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include so we can respond to your request.

3. Local game data

Save slots, progress, inventory, currencies, gameplay statistics, and settings are stored on your device. Pocket Heist 1.0 does not transmit or synchronize saved game state through Apple iCloud or CloudKit. Local data remains until you delete it through available game or device controls, or remove the app and its local data.

4. Optional rewarded ads and consent

Pocket Heist uses Google Mobile Ads to offer optional rewarded advertisements and Google’s User Messaging Platform to request or record privacy choices where required. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device or advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from network information, ad interactions, consent signals, and diagnostics. The exact processing depends on your region, device settings, consent choice, and Google’s services.

We use this processing to request, deliver, secure, limit, and measure optional rewarded ads, and to provide the associated in-game reward after completion. Cash, gems, skill points, loot, and other rewards are fictional game items with no real-world monetary value.

5. Network status

The game checks whether a network path is available before requesting an ad. The connectivity result is used to report ad availability and is not added to your saved game.

6. Your choices

• Rewarded advertisements are optional.
• Where Google requires an in-app privacy-options entry point, use Privacy Choices in Pocket Heist Settings or Legal & Privacy to review available consent controls.
• You can manage advertising and privacy controls in your Apple device settings.
• You can remove local game data through applicable game or device controls.
• You may contact privacy@winbybit.com with a privacy question or request concerning information controlled by WinByBit.

7. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your local saved-game data. Google and participating advertising partners may process ad-related information as described above and under their own terms and privacy policies. Apple distributes the app and independently handles App Store, device, and platform information under Apple’s policies.

8. Retention and security

Local game data is retained on your device as described above. Support or privacy emails are retained only as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain appropriate business records, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. Third-party providers set their own retention periods. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we control, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

9. Children

The game does not knowingly ask children to submit direct contact information. Parents and guardians should review the game’s App Store age rating, advertising choices, and device controls before allowing a child to play. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information directly to WinByBit.

10. International processing

Google, Apple, and their service providers may process information in countries outside your province or country, where different privacy laws may apply. Their privacy policies provide more information about their processing practices.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Pocket Heist’s features, providers, or data practices change. We will post the current version here and update the effective date. Material changes will be communicated where required.
